Hello, after I put a LIN connection wrong in a retrofit last weekend and then searched for a wolf, the decision was now that I will get an oscilloscope. By chance I stumbled over a few models, which can also evaluate LIN and CAN which in the long term could facilitate troubleshooting of some ECUs anyway. Now I am thinking about whether a battery powered or a stationary oscilloscope is more useful. It makes it a little more handy and easier because the mass/grounding topic is eliminated, but it is usually tray-like devices with a higher price compared to stationary devices, which are however also quite handy. For the trays speaks with some of the automotive-oriented functionality, which might also be beneficial with different challenges. Is there any experience with such devices and a recommendation here? Best Thank you for inputs!
