Hello Elchreiter, I’m asking for your help Have the choice between a passat 1.9 (2004) with 150 tkm and a V50 2.0 D Kinetic (11/2006) with 165 tkm. Both for 6,000 negotiating base. Since I’m quite undecided and know myself better with VW, I would like to hear your opinion now: 1. The 1.9 engine from the passat is very robust, how does it look with the 2.0 from Volvo? 2. What about the km from the Volvo? My uncle has worked for Volvo in Sweden for over 20 years and he says that the 165 tkm are eig. nix for the Volvo…how’s that right? (someone’s experience with it?) 3. What about the maintenance at Volvo, especially with the model mentioned here and at this age? Will the V50 be more susceptible to damage with age? (one thinks that it’s a family coach and probably well handled it, driven by a lady and checkbook.) Will the V50 be more susceptible to damage with age?
