Because I like to listen to music and my extended system unfortunately also has extended power requirements. If I drive a longer distance with elevated volume, then I have to pamper my comfort battery again after that. If I do not do this, then all possible ECUs – as at present again – collapse. After I have had good experience with the construction of a stronger alternator at my golf times (at that time from 90A to 120A), I am now looking for a stronger alternator for my Phaeton. There is a 190A LM in there from the factory. As far as I have seen this, there are also stronger variants with 220A and 230A at Touareg. Now the question to the specialists: Does one fit in the Phaeton? The motors are essentially the same. MfG
