Hello people , I’ve already read something here which makes me a bit sad ?? I’m driving now (at the age of 26) an old Opel Astra F of 94 who just cracked the 100k km (all still original , got it with 19 from Grandma and the only drinks with it 1x a week ??) Now my budget for a “newer ” is at 16.000€ . I’m really interested in the VW Scirocco , but now I had to find out in this forum apparently the mei n looked out (1.4L , 160ps , BJ mid 2011 ) massive problems eg with the control chain has (chosen has 69k down ). Is this the same with the 2.0 L & 211PS machine ? I’m really not the expert on cars , therefore the probably some stupid question whether the problem occurs with all Sciroccos (switch as well as automatic ) ? What would make me absolutely white glow , would be if the “new” car breaks directly . I thank you for your help
