W460 or Lada Niva long

Good morning, I have a lot of new-fashioned vehicles, a VW Multivan, a Mercedes Viano and a Subaru Forrester, standing around, which I want to sell. I am looking for a robust car with as little technology as possible. Due to the low price, the Lada Niva long is considered as a new car. The test drive was OK. The disadvantage is that I have to convert it to LPG and retrofit it directly, to suitable corrosion protection, cruise control and better noise insulation. For the pushers I have my inner middle finger. Worse is that the quality overall is rather poor. For this the repairs are simple and the costs are low. Alternatively I am interested in the W460 as diesel, oldtimer and long version. That it is larmarschig, does not itch me here either. Used it costs about the same as the Lada Niva long new. But I am also interested in consumption, repairability, reliability, costs and costs for the afterlife. I would be happy about a factual discussion. Dogmatism, fanaticism, pp. don’t interest me. I would also be interested in a Japanese, but I have the impression that they have ridden down harder, consume even more, and repairs may be significantly higher. With best regards Reinhard Wilhelm
