Water pump defective 🙁

Hi Forum, after a successful holiday in Austria (my wife called out to save money), my 9-5 Kombi 2.0t (150 hp) had to go to the workshop because my computer whispered something of low cooling liquid. Result: 400-500 Eur (take the car off this afternoon) because cooling water pump is defective. The whole thing after only 76,000 km. So much for saving 🙁 🙁 My question: is normal? I mean 76,000 km and about 4.5 years old car, so my old Ford Escort lasts longer? h now set to even more problems or is that just bad luck? What do your experiences look like? Please don’t say hello to Oliver P.S. too much bad experiences, my soul must be caressed, after all, the 9-5 combo is my “dream car”…
