This has become a zero decision, that is I buy my today’s A6 from the leasing and wait until the manufacturers have improved quality and ergonomics. I had tested some vehicles (request combi, automat and 4×4): Mercedes E class combi: Lausige seats, Navi not adjustable according to my requirements, high price Audi A6: massively longer and wider than today’s, no more space, design fittings deteriorated, MMI not user-friendly, too many knobs and snaps. VW Passat 3.2 4 Motion: Interesting price with good equipment, oldt Navi (DVD terribly lame), and it’s just a VW 😉 Volvo V70, XC70, XC90: consistently rather outdated motorization or outdated combination with GT, best seat in the V70 (sports seat). Therefore, I have to see more of the navigation system at the border, in the XC90 Fata Morgana image on the windshield. Air conditioning is not comparable with Audi, built over the forum with little fun.
