Is it already known whether the amendment of the law will eventually make it to Germany and what will it look like in the other EU countries? Here is an extract from ÖAMTC: Light motorcycle up to 125 cc with the B-driver’s licence The B-driver’s licence allows a motorcycle with a cylinder capacity of no more than 125 cc and an engine power of no more than 11 kW to be steered. Requirements: •At least 5 years of continuous possession of a valid driving licence in class B •No further driving licence test It limitations •Proof of practical driving lessons to the extent of a total of at least 6 hours in driving schools or at a car driver’s club (see link below) •Registration of code 111 in the driver’s license (priorly not allowed to drive!) Driving on motorways is allowed, as light motorcycles have the required design speed of at least 60 km/h and can also exceed this speed. Currently, a 125 cc motorcycle with the B driver’s license is not only allowed in Ö I would like to thank the rapporteur for his excellent report, and I would like to thank him very much for his excellent report.
