The old thermostat had no external damage (so as with meckisfaq in the instruction that there was a leg torn off). Can this be due to the fact that my heat exchanger is leaking from the heater? Can I hardly imagine what this should have to do with the water temperature. After the installation of the thermostate, i was able to get the heat out of the heater. ch opened both venting screws, then refilled until it ran out, turned on, motored for 10 minutes, until nothing bubbling more. The temperature went up to about 99°C, then the fan went on for a few seconds. Temp. remained at 97-99°C – is that normal that it is so high? Whatever what else can it be now?!
