Hello, I got a Mercedes EQS SUV 580 in June as a company leasing vehicle for quiet, long rides, because I have become very noise-sensitive. So far, however, I have been very disappointed by Mercedes and the car. The car has the following problems: 1. E-motor noise during the ride There is a high-sounding surreptitiously, which can be heard clearly. On other stereo EQS SUV models you can hear nothing or only very quiet, but not disturbing. According to Mercedes, the Allra I drive a Tesla MY as a second car and had a Tesla M3 before. I also know other electric vehicles. None of the other cars makes such a disturbing, whistling sound. 2. Grinding noise when driving backwards At low speed, there is a loud scratching loop when driving backwards. Lt. Mercedes is the “normal”. But this was then “repaired” and Now the car squeaks instead on the reverse drive. And in addition, the rear axle is still clapping when driving. 3. Electronics – Route planning With the option “Plan loadstop” under “Electric Intelligence” the route planning is guided arbitrarily via detours that make no sense. 4. Electronics – Profile storage The settings for a user profile are not permanently stored, even if a synchronization is performed manually. In addition to these points, there were other problems that could not be expected with such a car: dirty steering level at handover, small leather damage, gap measurement problems with the center console etc.. The car was in the workshop for over 3 weeks and the problems could not be fixed. In particular, point 1 was said that one still has to wait for the Ok from the plant in Stuttgart until one has to drive the drive against a I expect a solution from Mercedes and I am already slowly ready for a return of the contract for me.
