Good morning together, I stayed yesterday with my girlfriend’s car. Under the car about 2 liters of engine oil poured, probably the oil drain screw was not properly tightened… My real problem: my girlfriend is R+V insured and has the corresponding protective letter. The towing also worked wonderfully. The huge annoyance began, when in the 30km radius no car rental agency had opened. 40km would be the next Sixt emergency service away. Taxi costs would be The emergency service would take about half an hour. On arrival the disillusionment: no emergency service available. After 2 more calls with the insurance and 2.5 hours waiting time then the super message: today no emergency service comes, we would have to go to the nearest airport…. The whole action then pulled itself from 3-8 o’clock, +2 hours return journey home. My question to you: I would get away from the insurance company. If I had handled all this directly through my ADAC Plus membership, I would probably have had a replacement car at 5 o’clock.
