This week, with a new (600km on the speedometer) 9-3 1.9 Tdi with Sentronic in the middle of the road, the following happened to me: Without any warning, the engine and all the lights and systems run out. As if someone had taken off the plug. Fortunately, this happened on a little busy side road. Don’t think about what could happen with a overtaking manoeuvre or on the highway. According to my garage, this could happen occasionally. Ch2 rebooting one or the other control unit and then the box is running again. I didn’t think I heard it right. This car is life-threatening. The funny thing about it. It was a replacement car because my 9-3 Aero Cabriolet has been in the workshop for three weeks with mechanical and electronic problems. The car is now 19 months old and was already over 10 times with similar problems in the garage. It would be such a great car but for me this is probably the topic Saab is done. I don’t like to tell you about the communication skills of the Saab leaders. It’s just a tragedy. If only I had kept the old 9-3 convertible…… An extremely disappointed (yet) Saab enthusiast.
