Is there a prescribed Candela / Lux strength for brake lights?

I am an epileptic with a driving license, because my seizures are usually just focal and do not affect my motor skills. I also have to take 1 x per year for inspection, etc. In the last I have the problem, however, that my seizures are getting a little stronger and especially that these are triggered by the very glaring brake lights (e.g. current Audi models)!!! So I got used to driving sunglasses (even at night…which is not necessarily the road safety issue). and wanted to ask if there is also an EU directive for brake lights? And if so, is this also controlled? With some LED lights I have subjectively the feeling that the lights are brighter than the fog closing light. Sure I am only a minority, but also I am dependent on the car and would hate to give it up. Also in my circle of acquaintances the complaints about the glaring lights accumulate, especially when you are in the dark at the amp l stands directly behind such a driver and the one who has the foot on the brake all the time.
