Hi! I take this as an opportunity to present my variant for the replacement of the normally no longer available Hella three-chamber light 2SD 006 459 031. Mine were not really broken but gammelig and matte, as well as the reflectors cloudy. The light was hardly recognizable by day and therefore too uncertain for me. The exchange for new ones should help, on the occasion I could find that they are no longer manufactured and are nowhere available. After some pondering I have I decided for the conversion to LED. So I bent the lamp glasses out of 4mm acrylic glass. Cut-outs cut in and such LED lanterns installed. Depending on the towing vehicle a CAN resistor has to be clean per lamp. The whole thing is still covered with 3D foil and chic. Visibility: enormous! So I was there with approx. 60 euros per page. The sale of the old light strip complete, amortized the conversion. Afterwards clean by the TÜV, no problem. But see for yourself:
