Hello, I drive a Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi FAP 135; 98kW (133PS); 10.10.2001 with 147.000km. I wanted to make oil changes and when the employees who have covered … they found that there is quite a lot of oil. That’s what they showed me and meant that it is probably the turbocharger that is defective. They also saw something in the middle full of oil and said that it is very likely but only one gasket can be. They recommended to go to Peugeot and Ü I have also noticed that something in the engine compartment “knocks, but not always. They couldn’t confirm that it comes from the turbocharger but they believe it can be. I’m surprised that the car still accelerates normally, even in 2500 revolutions. Now I don’t know if I should try to speed it up so hard again to control it that they told me that it’s about engine engine speed. You know what can be there and if it can be the turbocharger? Because I think it’s an expensive matter. At ATU they meant between 1500 and 2000€. Here I read that it can also be a clogged filter. Is it also possible? The last oil change is also quite long ago.
