Hello Communitiy, sorry if I should post this topic in the wrong area, but I’ve only been here since today. Now to the actual topic, which is not so rosy. A week ago I bought a used Mercedes A-Class (W169), built in 2005, 105,000 KM, A160 CDI 82 HP, for 6350€. So far, so good, but I wanted to park a Abens backwards from the garage and somehow wasn’t at all in the stuff and put my nagelnaues-used car against a tree my garage. I don’t know why but I didn’t even look back when I was driving out of the garage. Apparently I had a good speed on the speedometer, because the damage looks pretty heavy. The way it looks is the bumper, the side section, the side skirts, the taillight and even all appearances damaged the axle. I think you will be able to take all this from the photos. I would like to hear your opinion on my case now, if it is noc h is worth repairing the whole thing, if yes, how much I would have to expect at least, whether the whole 600€ purchase price would exceed or if it is simply not possible to restore the whole thing anymore. But as I can imagine, I will be able to write off my car, because that with the bent axle looks really bad. Oh God, what did I conjure up?
