Rim wrench worn?

Hello everyone, today I had my XC70 lift the winter bikes and the toolmaster handed me the vehicle with the comment “velvet key shows strong wear, so we have to buy a new one next time” and in fact the key looks a bit loaded. Well, after the tires were tightened 5 times with this key (change S->W + check after 100km, change W->S + check + the current change S->W), I naturally ask myself the question, What is the quality standard at Volvo when a key is so quickly worn out.
