Hello, I have had a squeaky, wheel speed-dependent noise while driving for about half a year. (R230 SL350 Built. 06) The noise probably comes from the front left from the area of the brake. From approx. 50 km/h to approx. 100 km/h the squeaking appears audible, it gets faster and faster after wheel speed. However, the noise only occurs as soon as the car has been warmed up and already a few kilometers behind it. My first guess was the brake, however, changes the No sound when it is activated. I also checked whether the noise changes when I set up “N” during the ride – no difference. With brake cleaners I have flooded the brake and checked whether particles have caught up in the perforated brake disc. Several MB workshops and an MB branch have taken care of the problem, but could not find anything. The rear brake discs + brake pads have been renewed (Hinten MB original). rderen were still as good as new, the brake pads were nevertheless sanded (front ATE brake disc with ATE Ceramic brake pad). The tyres are only 1 year old, but were already tested with others. Also the parking brake was checked – everything was fine. Did everything cost a lot of money but nothing. Is there perhaps any special features because of the SBC brake? Could it have to do with the ATE components? Does anyone still have a tip what to check? could? I would be very happy about advice from you. Thank you very much! Greeting Marcel
