Hope that this is the right subforum for such a topic. I have had my driver’s license for about a week now, but still have a little trouble starting up. That’s why I practiced a little with my father and found a way that works relatively well. I let the clutch come a little bit, give gas up to about 2000 revolutions and then drive by further letting the clutch come. I don’t really pay attention to the grinding point, but leave the clutch relatively far away. Now I just want to know if this way is bad for the car. It’s not like I’m giving up a long gas in idle, but I’m not waiting for the grinding point.
