Stinger 2.0 T-GDI air supply and filter

Hello together, I know, the topic always provides a good ignition substance among car fans, but I open it anyway: It is about the air supply or the filter in my case the 2.0l T-GDI. But for all 3.3l drivers it is certainly not very different, except that there are 2 of them. When opening the air filter box it is noticeable that there is a plug-in module on the right with a flap, which apparently opens with the help of a magnet from a certain underpressure and thus more air I just removed this module and tested it. The difference of the intake noise – both in the stand and under load was already noticeable. The whole thing has become even stronger after I – now it’s becoming tricky – installed a K&N replacement filter. The hissing of the turbo and the general engine noise have already increased significantly in my opinion. Well, with the leisetreter probably not difficult either. Do you have with the “fold” in the Filt Is it worrying to always have the air supply through this conversion, which seems to be more intended for larger load operations? I am looking forward to your experiences. Best regards Chris
