Tires damaged, kulant handling with customers

Hello together, this post is aimed at the tyre dealers among us (how do you deal with something like that), on the other hand at the customers among us (what is your expectation to the dealer). I am looking forward to a lively conversation… What happened? A new customer comes to me for the first time ( last year to the winter season ) and wants to have removed the good, hardly worn out summer tires from the aluminium rims and have reassembled the winter tires on the same set of aluminium rims n. The summer tyres are already 3 years old, so they have already been dismantled at least 1x, which the customer has confirmed to me. Since it is not a Runflat, I accept the order (if I have not mounted the Runflat tyres, I reject the disassembly/assembly of used Runflat for reasons of liability). I give the summer tyres to the customer, everything is good. This week the customer comes back, same game for the summer season. When the summer tyres are assembled, the massive Bes This damage I did not notice during the dismantling. Since it is a simple tire (no runflat, no small low cross section) and I noticed nothing during the dismantling, I assume that the damage was caused by my “forerunner”. If I can not prove it, it is also not about this. After I kindly informed the customer of my guess, I have refunded the tire at my expense. ch was just the last fitter, so I’m standing straight. Afterwards I tried to recreate this damage with a used rim from my stock, unfortunately only with moderate success. Now @ the dealers among us, how do you deal with this?
