Good day, I need help in buying and estimating the renovation costs of a trailer (PKW) Today I spotted a Westfalia trailer and could get it for 2 boxes of beer.Year 1972, German papers, no tuv, standing for 3 years outdoors, length 2,20 m, height 1,30 m, width 1,30 m, total weight 1200 kg, with tarpaulin construction, tarpaulin is intact without holes bode plate screen printing and exterior walls should be made new. (Siebrduck plates approx. 250 EUR) Brakes should also be made (approx. 50 EUR) The frame is rusty, here we would have to do welding work. (approx. 100 EUR) Right turn signaler/light holder would have to be renewed (approx. 50 EUR) I could not check electrics (???EUR) This would be intended as a possible winter project. Renovation costs around 400-450 EUR. Would that be a possible purchase, or would you advise here due to too high costs? Are the costs realistic, or too expensive Thanks for your help.
