Hi, so here’s the problem. I only noticed yesterday that my water pump makes noises (such a clacker) Since I have to go to Ingolstadt tomorrow and I only got my water pump today, is my question whether I can change the water pump without putting down the ZAhnbelt? First it does more work and secondly I don’t want to drive 350km without having set the ignition time correctly. I bought the complete water pump. That means inner life + housing. n 1.8 S 90PS PM and no climate. So a clear view from the side yesterday was in a workshop and they thought that you can take out the entire pump just sideways. They thought that you might still have to unscrew the alternator, but that who really prefers to put it down than the complete tooth grate. Is there anything else to consider? What do you think?
