I’ve had some “problems” (e-starter) lately with the nearly 2 years old battery in our Aprilia Sportcity One 50 4T scooter. In the last weeks it’s been 3-4 times that it didn’t want to start in the morning. The start noise was normal for the first 2-3 seconds and then got a little weaker or slower. I guess it’s because of the battery. If you drive only 1km then jump immediately by E-starter. Last Sunday also 30km country roads (3/4 hour with almost constant speed and only a few stops) but still the E-starter didn’t want to drive again yesterday morning – and the scooter was driven almost daily between Sunday and Friday (even though city and with 2-3 intermediate stops but usually not daily under 10km). Now my question: How much voltage does a 12V scooter battery have to have normally i.e. not under load? I think this is about 12.5 to 13V, is that correct? To what value can the Battery at most kneeling during the start process with e-starter so that you can speak of an intact battery? Thank you for all the answers in advance !
