Hello! I am currently selling my Opel Meriva 1.7 CDTI, as it is now slowly but surely leaking at 205000 kilometers (oil). I get about 2000 euros for this, I have to pay insurance and tax for the next one (I calculate with approx. 1000 euros) and then can/would like to add about 2000-2500. I drive about 40000 kilometers a year, there is a lot of long distance (daily two times 20 km plus several times weekly 50 km), but unfortunately also on working days daily two times 7.5 km short distance. It should be a station wagon, under certain circumstances I would also take a limousine. No small car or “compact” car like golf, Astra etc. (except of course Variant/Caravan). On the relevant platforms there are lots of Renault Lagunas and Meganes, but they are not supposed to be reliable at all. Therefore, I ask the community here which cars are reliable and do not bring any nasty surprises. I am aware that in k a car is in it, but many users here can certainly share their experiences.
