Hello, a question in the round: For the next Seat Ibiza my partner will be ordered new winter bikes in the next weeks. After studying the relevant tire tests I only took the two best class (185/60 R15) into the short choice – Conti Winter Contact TS 850 and Dunlop Winter Response 2. What makes me ponder – where do you think the at least partially contradictory “reviews” from the EU label and the usual tire tests come from ( ADAC, etc.)? I put together… *************************** Conti EU label: – rolling resistance/fuel consumption class E, wet grip class C, external rolling noise 71 dB ADAC tyre test (similar to other tyre test): – fuel consumption grade 1.8; wet rating 1.9; noise rating 2.8 ******************************************************* Dunlop EU label: – rolling resistance/fuel consumption class C, wet grip class B, external rolling noise 67 dB ADAC tyre test: – fuel consumption Note 1,5; wet note 1,9; noise note 3,1 ******************************* According to the EU label the Dunlop looks much better in the tested categories – the corresponding values in the tyre tests do not indicate this (clearly)… Conclusion: Who can be trusted here more?
