Hello, I’m just setting up a new 72 Granada and would like to know how elaborate a conversion to Cosworth technology would be from nem Scorpio. Would ideally buy a Scorpio Cosworth and transplant as much as possible into my Granada. What I could already ergoogle is that probably only the BOA 2.9I V6 from nem 1er Scorpio comes into question. But that’s also the only question that I could answer 100% myself. What does it look like when installing the engine? or do they have to be adapted or rewelded? Does the Scorpio I have a cat and can I take it with me? Since I definitely want to have a manual transmission, what does it have on me with the MT75 transmission from the Sierra (except that it should tolerate 300 NM)? Is this the transmission from the Sierra Cosworth with rear drive? If so, should the part be difficult to find or only to pay with organ donation card. Or was it also installed in other models? plus NM alternatives? e.g. the transmission made of 150 hp Scorpio I 2.9i V6. What happens to the drive from transmission? Does the original cardan shaft fit to the new transmission or does it even last? Or can I take the shaft from the Scorpio with me? Should the diff. also be changed? Can I install the brake system from the Scorpio in Granada? Or, in other words, where do I get stronger brakes for the Granada? 200 Ps should be kept under control somehow. obleme could I get with the electronics? That all the electronics for the engine has to be taken over is clear. What problems will occur that I have not yet thought of? And since I come from Austria, someone has experience with getting such a thing registered in Austria? I don’t care about oldtimer registration, I don’t need it. I hope someone who has done this before and can answer my questions in a little more detail in the Fore n, which I found, rather only general answers alla “will fit already” found. already thank you in advance for answers
