Hello to each other, after my beloved golf was destroyed by an accident, I buy from a friend her Hyundai Matrix, BJ 2005, 1.6L petrol, 95,000 km, 2 previous owners. The car had a few minor repairs in his life and the TÜV ran through recently without complaint, but the change of the timing belt (due to 90,000bKm or after 6 years) was not carried out yet. I can not believe that it should have lasted already 14 years, abe r well. So I will have a timing belt change and am now considering whether I should have it changed at Hyundai (725,- Euro) or at Euromaster (600,- Euro). The price difference is not very high and therefore I do not know if I really get “more” at Hyundai for 125,- Euro. So far the car has been at Euromaster for all repairs – why always – and therefore also my question. What would you do? Thank you in advance.
