Hello I’m new here, I bought the new Opel Mokka B 1.2 petrol 100 hp, which made me happy was that the Mokka is now equipped with LED headlights with every equipment variant. Unfortunately this joy today got a massive damper. Today for the first time in Bavaria strong snowfall in the morning hours. The temperature by -1 degrees. The smaller evil was the self-bleaking of the snowflakes, much worse was that after 5 KM on the highway the view went towards zero It was so bad that I only had the possibility to drive behind a truck and follow its rear lights until the next descent still about 3km. Immediately after the departure from the highway I stopped and had to find out that the LED headlights were completely covered with a more than 1 cm thick snow layer. with halogen headlights this was prevented by the own warmers. Probably also due to the geometry of the sc heinwerferfront which are actually completely vertical without scraping plus LED where there is no own heat. Wanted to ask here if it is similar with the predecessor model is known. Since the new Mokka is not yet old as long there will be no great experience there. I find that it is a considerable safety risk if the headlights cover themselves so quickly in snowfall and the light is almost completely lost. Maybe someone has had similar experience and e I should probably get in touch with Opel. Thank you for your information.
