The other day I had the bad luck to drive a nail in the rear left tire. At the friendly one a short phone call, the problem described and then drove out to him. When driving I noticed then, that above all the acceleration was barely 50% of the normal condition, also the driving behavior was a little spongy. So as soon as possible (without detours) drove to the friendly one, and there let the tire look. It was half 6, at 6 the workshop closes, from therefore I understand there no one wanted to look at my problem properly anymore. Anyway, the service consultant, who is probably due for a new tire, said that he wanted to add one for 130€. Since I bought these tires for 55€ the piece at Pneumobil, I did not see this price at all and asked to exchange the loaded tires for the spare wheel (fully). The service consultant refused to do so on the grounds that it was not allowed to use mixed tyres. I mean 3 summer tires with ALU rims, and 1 summer tire (other manufacturer, was included with vehicle purchase) with steel rims. The tires have the same dimensions, profile depth difference is 3millimeters. I would really like to know if it is forbidden to drive with such a constellation for a short time or if I should only be pushed to buy an overpriced tire.
