Today I took my TTR (180hp, EZ 3/00) out of the workshop, the 60,000 was due. I had already been carefully prepared for the 2000 year (and a few others) to be replaced independently of the mileage after 5 years of the timing belts. Long speech, short meaning, the “netten” gentlemen wanted to have exactly 1,389 euros for an inspection with timing belt change. OK Air conditioning service (50 euros) was also included. Sorry people, almost 2,800 real money for an inspection? And there were no defects on the vehicle! Well, you may blame me that I should not drive a TT – probably the inspection at a polo would have been cheaper. Now I have to come down again.
