Hello, yesterday I had my winter bikes screwed on again (Michelin Alpin 17″ on S-Line), which I had bought last winter and had driven a winter very little, are still almost like new. The wheels were also adjusted after the assembly at 2,3 bar. Then this morning: during the ride after 3km it was pointed out that a tire was flat. I then hit the spare wheel and continued the ride, but on the flat tire there was no damage/nail I’m seriously asking myself: how can that be? I’ve already driven a whole season with exactly these wheels, and after that they were stored at the dealer’s store. The core question is: if what were with the valve, then I would have already noticed that last season? Why only now after waking up from the ‘summer sleep’? The wheels were no longer washed before the storage, but that doesn’t matter? Or is this a well-known mesh of tire services? The tyres are probably now a case for the garbage, so they say yes (because of the risk of cracking the carcass?). Would you now exchange both or just the one? (back axle) The tyres are DOT at the end of 2013 and still have almost full profile (so 7.5 – 8.0).
