Alternator and vacuum pump broken ?

Hello together, I’m new here on the forum of hence in advance something about me and the car. I bought today a Sorento 2,5 Crtdi with 140 hp, for me the first car of Kia and also the first SUV. I bought the vehicle with defective alternator. Nevertheless, I just wanted to try out in the forest, if because the four wheel works, but look there, it did nothing, only was at the back of the spin. Now I have read myself here and there a little bit to overha upt to get an overview, but I am also not deep enough in the matter to be able to judge my problem, so I hope to get a little help here if necessary. If I change the knob to 4×4 LO position, nothing at all, no reduction, you can also hear no adjustment motor. I have controlled the fuse of the TCCS, which is fine. Now I have considered whether the voltage of the battery (currently about 12,1 volts) may not be enough to switch En, would that be possible? Or is villeicht even the vacuum pump on the alternator to blame that the all-wheel can not be switched on, if the alternator is broken? Is the vacuum pump mechanically driven or by the Lima with electricity? What do you mean, would someone have an idea? Greetings, Jonas
