Mahleit Audi-Fan-gemeinde, I didn’t find an extra forum for tyres (e.g.), so I post it here: I’m currently tormenting myself with the idea of buying wide tires for 17″-alus next spring: 1) The fact is, the tire is the only connection to the road, if you didn’t mean too well by lowering it, I don’t want to follow the trend of buying cheap tires! 2)Now my tyre dealer tells me “the trust”, I can’t think of platinum tires without thinking. I don’t know what to think of it, the only platinum I found, look like the Fulda Carat Extremo, and they’re absolute shit! (Had I myself for a short time!) 3) Alternatively, I can get some well-preserved (6,5mm) falcons FK451 from a buddy… 4) Or rather plunder the savings stock and a top brand ka ufen? – Drive the Goodyear F1 GSD3 on my B4 Tdi, which is great, but also exciting!
