Dear community, I would like to check whether a folding table technology (foldable tables known from airplanes) could be used in campers. The folding table would be stowed in a box and can be extended with the help of a rail system and a gas pressure spring if necessary (see pictures called folding table ansiht as illustration). In campers there is often space shortage and places value on functionality. It would also be possible to use this folding table especially for the passenger. The question is, is this technically feasible at all? Would it be intressant to install the box with the folded table (which would be extendable if necessary) or is it interesting that you can move the box by means of a rail system? And for the front seat: whether there is enough space to install it between the front seats or, for example, in the passenger door? Is this technically feasible (in the passenger door, for example, there is already a lot of elekronik)? b the safety conditions allow this (what happens when the airbag opens)? Not least, whether the need for it is there at all? Every response and every impulse would help me very much! Many thanks!
