Hello dear sl driver, I would like to buy a sl 450. Bj is 1973. 240.000 km. It is a German vehicle. No import. The car is 1992 in absolutely serious owns. The paint is perfect and the car is stainless. Really optically from outside very nice. The last years the car was hardly moved to not at all. Now to my questions The cover has to be renewed because some idiot has slit it up. The engine should be checked. This is certainly not normal. It is clear that all liquids have to be replaced. The carpet in the interior is torn. So it should also be renewed. The controllers of the heating are missing completely and the heating runs on full gas according to the salesman’s instructions. And lastly, the leather equipment is not torn open but still worn off. I would therefore like to have the seats re-referenced. If someone who possibly has such a vehicle has already such repairs can be carried out and can provide information about the costs? Or is there someone in the forum who is familiar with the prices of such items? The sl should cost 8000 euro whereby the seller has already signaled that there is still room for negotiation. Is the purchase advisable among the above mentioned defects nevertheless or should I buy a sl in good condition directly? Thanks already 😉
