Hello everybody, I’m about to decide to buy a used Peugeot 2008 Style Navi, which was first approved in 2018 and still has TÜV until February 2025. The dealer says that he will take care of some repairs, but only if I agree to the purchase. Specifically, this is the replacement of the V-belt, as well as a renewal of the TÜV. The repair is probably included in the purchase price. Furthermore, the Peugeot indicates slight scratches on the driver’s side front and hint I’m not sure if it’s wise to agree to such a deal. Has anyone had any experience buying a car that still needs repairs, and how did it work for you? He said the repairs would be done so that there are no problems with warranty or liability for material defects afterwards. I would be very grateful for further advice and opinions!
