Hello dear motor-talker, I am one of the late victims of the famous light metal engines installed in the VW Polo. A few weeks ago, on a frosty morning, my engine ventilation (more precisely the crankcase ventilation) was frozen, with the well-known result: sprayed oil and stuck engine. Now VW refuses to take over the repair, on the grounds that I did not have the car repaired in a VW workshop, warranty claims are there This illogical link (the damage was caused by an unsuitable material used by VW, not by wrong repair) does not seem to me and I am tempted to deny my right in court. Does anyone know if anyone has ever tried to force VW to pay damages? Successful or not successful? I am looking forward to all the answers!
