Seat Leon bought as an EU car – right for Tüv?

Hello together, a good week ago I bought a Seat Leon with first registration 1/20 from a car dealer with good rating. According to Verkaeufer, the car was registered briefly in Spain, but had only 8 km on the speedo during the visit here in Germany. The registration process was unfortunately incredibly long. The car authority needed with me – purchase receipt – hint where the old signs (from Spain) are located – vehicle identification I kuerze it a bit ab – natuerli I made several phone calls with the dealer, insurance and the authority. An employee of the Dekra made the identification. However, the authority said that the car was already registered as a rental car in Spain. I said that I bought the car as an EU new car and how that could be. I was told that this could be yes, but I get only one year of Tüv instead of 3 (or even 4 as with the new car now). Anyway, I can now immediately get at the beginning to the Dekra, to catch up with the Tüv. Then I have the three years, but still I am surprised. I will pass on the costs to the Haendler. How can such a thing be with a new car? He smells completely new, has now 200 km and still had the protective foil on the display. I’m just a little unsure. Thanks!
