Special winter rims with thicker paint?

Hello, before I buy new rims for my 120d E87LCI EZ 04/11, I tried to clarify to what extent there are special winter rims. I once heard that winter rims have a thicker clear coat protection layer than summer rims. Also the search with Google and here in the forum has provided similar, but just no confirmation but a “I also heard”. A request from Leebmann showed e.g. that this is not true, but they also want to sell other WKR. Background is, that BMW offers in its accessory price lists for the 1 E8x only four aluminium wheels as WKR, in 7Jx17 with 205/50R17 star spokes 256 and V-spokes 141 (the two are also the only 17″er not as 7.5Jx17 for mixed tyres), in 7xJ16 with 205/55R16 only star spokes 140 and V-spokes 229, for a short time also V-spokes 255 and star spokes 151. Leebmann e.g. (but also other, e.g. my local friend) now offer instead of 141 and 140 the Dppel spokes 178 in silver and black as well as V-S I have often read that every aluminium rim is equally suitable for the winter, as long as it is not excessively filigree and therefore difficult to keep clean or has any frills like chron or a polished/glossy twisted rim horn. However, also at RIAL, of which my current winter rims (Davos in 7Jx16) come, some rims have a winter tymbol, some do not. I would currently take the rim V spoke 141, even if 17″ with me. I don’t need to (but I want to, for optical reasons and because I want to exchange for a 123d/130i with a good offer). However, I like the double spoke 178 actually better, it also looks easier to keep clean. The star spoke 178 would of course be even more simple, but I don’t like that at all. I ask this question here, because I received little and hardly any helpful answers in the 1er subforum.
