Hello, I would like to have a USB port in my helmet compartment or in the “glove compartment”, so that I can also charge my smartphone. In principle I know what I want to do, but I would need someone to approve it for me. And I would buy such a step down USB module (https://www.ebay.de/…/323767141033?…) and do all this with plus of battery and minus at some mass point on the housing. Now, however, I wonder how to limit the current from the Port? My smartphone will surely treat itself to 2.1 amps, does the electric circuit of the scooter cope with that? Or do I end up with an empty battery? I would like you to not pull more than 1 A over the USB port. And there comes thought 2 in the game: Just install a 12V cigarette lighter in the same way, but put a USB charger on it max. 1A output. What would be more useful? Do you have any suggestions for improvement? I don’t think I should use Plus a directly. n the battery, then it is discharged over short or long then, because of the resting current of the module. What would be a better point for plus? Thank you
