Hello people! This is my first post in the forum so I want to introduce myself first. My name is Matan and I come from the Ruhr area. I am 34 years old. My hobby is classic cars. Less that repair and restore, but more that drive and enjoy. My father has a Ford Taunus Knudsen around which I like to take care of myself voluntarily. Even if I don’t own an old car at the moment I follow the market, go back and forth to old car meetings and inform myself regularly. I have got a good opportunity to buy cheap vintage cars in non-EU countries and import them to Germany. The vehicles are really in good condition, so no rust carts, but really well preserved or freshly restored vehicles. The cars would also come easily through the German TÜV and get a German H-approval. Import, customs etc. are no problem. For example, I am currently offered a restored BMW 2002 with 74 kW carburetor engine. to has new-related beige lede seats, completely resealed and painted, black color, no rust spots, new tires, new brakes. A really nice car (see photos). According to vintage car reviews, the car has a value of 10,000 EUR. I would sell it for 7,500 EUR and still make profit!!! On mobile.de comparable cars are offered between 8,000 and 12,000 EUR. But are these realistic prices? Is there any demand at all at these prices? So what I want to say, According to the expert’s opinion, this is one thing, but if I really get the car sold at the price is the other question. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the sale of vintage cars and can hardly assess how large the demand is. Who knows well about the sale of well-preserved vintage cars in the price range by 10,000 EUR and what do you say about the above example? I’ll consider whether this could be a nice side income.
