My Suzuki Swift (MZ) with automatic manual transmission (built in 04/2006) has the following problem: Sporadic it happens that the insertion of a gear (automatically or manually) is not possible. That means I drove the car before (i.e. shorter distances of about 10 km), then parked it for about 1 hour and when driving again the engine jumped on, but the gearbox remained in neutral position and the insertion of a gear was impossible. bol. The system repeated the attempt to change gear. In the process, frictional transmission noises occurred, but a gear insertion failed. Only after waiting for at least 1-1/2 hours the car switched into a gear again without any problems. In the event of a lower waiting time, the problem was usually repeated. For the first time, the fault occurred in January 2017. In March 2017, the vehicle was examined at a Suzuki contract workshop. There, the clutch was changed and in the context of d In June 2018, a new battery was installed. I tried again this week. In a free workshop, the fault memory was read out again, again it did not reveal anything. The Gutmann tester used to report the cleaning of the throttle valve. An acquaintance spoke of the fact that in an automatic transmission, the way of the clutch was not clear. The labyrinth through which the oil flows must then be cleaned. To whom is this transmission problem known and which measure, also beyond the mentioned ones, leads in the end to the correction of the error? As everyone can imagine, driving is accompanied by a great uncertainty. In order to be able to drive again with a good and safe feeling, I ask for help in finding the cause. Thank you in advance.
