Hello. I drive a Toyota Avensis T22, (key 5013, 390) 1998 ccm, 94KW, year 10/1998. The turn signal switch is broken. Left blinking goes. Right blinking is a problem. If I only raise the switch, it flashes great. But if I turn up completely (for right blinking) nothing or the relay rattles quickly back and forth, but it doesn’t blink. If I press the switch again a little down, it flashes. For a few days it only works with raising the switch (Auto So it has to be on the switch. I found out via Google that you can only completely change this part (linkbar switch or similar) (including switch for the windscreen wiper). In this context I also read something about Facelift or pre-facelift. What does that mean? I have front fog lights, which are also actuated via this switch arm. Which switch would be the right one for me? At Toyota this part should be very expensive. needed to be seen in the “bay”, but I’m not sure if I get the right one there and if it’s ok. Vehicle recycling companies also offer parts, some also with shipping. I know, these are many questions, but I’m really desperate. Every roundabout is a horror for me, and we have many of them here. I’m grateful for every help. I’ve always been able to leave on getting help here. So give your best. THANK YOU. Karsten supplement. On photos on the Internet and Toyota forum it is explained that you can remove the switch from the holder. Is that true? I would have to take off the steering wheel cover and look. Is that easy?
