Hello together! I am currently interested in a vehicle (VW T4 BJ2000) where the owner has fought a small cable fire with an old powder extinguisher. He once kept neatly in the engine compartment, and once in the interior on it. The damage by the glimmering cable is negligible. But what about the powder? This hangs still cheerfully everywhere and causes rust on all unprotected parts. What I can see about damage is not beautiful but not dramatized further. but: What does the stuff do in the hidden? In the conserved cavities? On chromatized / galvanized parts? And above all: What does it do in the long term with the electrics? The damage is about 3 months ago, the powder has only been wiped away, so hangs still everywhere. Clean as well as possible (does one have a tip? The stuff is stone hard…), then preserve with fluid film or similar? Or package: Finger way, the car gammelt faster than I can sweep it up? V Thanks for your help! Dangerous_Half-Knowledge. PS: In various workshops and 2 TÜVs nobody could/wanted to make an assessment. A damage report is not possible for financial reasons.
