Good afternoon, I have a Subaru SVX, where the cross joint was fixed in front of the differential. One noticed this because when starting (0-20 km/h) a rattling was heard. At this speed nothing could be felt anymore. Now I had this repaired. I had the shaft removed in the SUbaru car house and managed to get a joint shaft service. There the cross joint was built and the shaft was balanced with metal plates. After it was installed again, I was able to However, from 70 km/h a vibration began in the car, which was unbearable at 100 km/h (I thought it would blow out the windows). I had then called at the joint shaft service, which thought they had properly balanced the shaft but errors are not excluded. So I could come again and they balanced out the shaft again. They suspect however, that the tooth wreath on the gearbox would probably have worn off (so the shaft will be damaged). I couldn’t believe it, because it went without problems before the repair. I could drive quickly without feeling the slightest vibration. I suspected myself that this company made a mistake in balancing, so I went to a Do It Yourself workshop and screwed the shaft off at the rear differential and turned 180 degrees again fixed. t. Now the balance weights are also on the other side. Now you can only see a vibrating from 120 km/h, not before. But it didn’t go completely away anyway. Now my question: What do you think this could have? I still have a guarantee with the joint shaft service, however I would have to pay the installation and installation of the shaft again in the car house. Does not want to do this now for nothing. Hope you can help me! Greetings
