Lowering bad for road situation?

I’m posting this here because there are a lot of people here with a clue that can distinguish optical effects from driving dynamic effects. I recently found a contribution to the VW-TDI engine while browsing on an American side, which warns against lowering, as this changes the geometry of the McPherson front wheel guidance (not only with VW). The author writes that the (my translation…) geometric pivot of the vehicle is shifted downwards, which d I think the author is referring to the intended pivot point around which the car tilts when it leans towards the outside of the corner. Here is the (English) link, for all interested parties. Scroll far down, the headline is called “h. suspension” and is unfortunately not directly jumpable (you end up at “Bigger Injectors”).http://www.tdiclub.com/TDIFAQ/TDiFAQ-6.html#h. Since I have never heard anything like this before, but otherwise find the article quite serious, I ask for your Meinu ngen. mfG Michael
