Hello, Frauchen has received the days for her R56 Cooper personalized offer for various service and partial replacement services. Since the little one has now 7 years on the poke (and except the incandescent lamps) so far had no problems, I want it to go on like this. With in the offer on this flyer: replacement of the battery for 125€ (55Ah). After 7 years you can exchange it on suspicion. Ok ok … ne 55A-Battery you get in part trade si But I thought to myself: “they build a” … “there is guarantee” … “the car is sucked out and also washed” … I don’t have any racing.” That’s worth the 125€. In the offer for the battery change, however, there is “no battery registration”. I know from my Countryman that nowadays you have to tell the system that a new battery has been installed (comfort control unit). How is this with the 2008 R56 Cooper ? I have heeu when I made the appointment, asked extra … not that then +39€ for the coding with on the invoice. This was denied for the 2008er. Can someone confirm that ? Is no coding necessary for the 2008er ? (If the invoice is higher, I will level the store there … or something!) Greeting, JNR
