Hello guys, during a clean-up and exit campaign I found spare parts that I bought a few years ago for my VW Bora. I don’t own the car for a long time. I never used the parts and they are all still original packed, however they have been lying around since August or September 2014(!). I would love to sell the stuff, but I don’t know if the parts could have become unusable due to age alone or how I am ignorant Here is a list of the things I found: – A set of Ate disc brake pads for the rear axle – A set of Ate disc brake pads for the front axle – A set of Ate brake discs for the rear axle – A set of Ate brake discs for the front axle All the parts listed are, as I said, still in the unopened sales packaging and were in a flat all the time. So they were not exposed to any significant weather conditions. In addition, I found four spark plugs from Bosch, which I bought for my VW Bora, but never installed. But they have been taken out of the box. Unfortunately, I don’t know how old they are. Probably they are similar old, so around the nine years. Do you think the parts can be sorted out just because they are so old? Or could they still be usable? If so, can I check that somehow as a total layman? I look forward to your help. someone interested, I sold my VW Bora about 2016 cheaply, after he had suffered a transmission damage. I bought a used but (allegedly) outdated transmission from a private person over the Internet, which was installed in a small workshop. The mechanic then found that the new old transmission also had a damage, which I of course was allowed to overtake myself during a test drive. Another gearbox or a overhaul would have I can’t afford it, so I threw the car away to an exporter with the damage for small change.
