Hi, I would have some more complicated questions about TÜV/Vehicle registrations. I recently bought a car with a TDI engine. The engine is equipped with a switchable CHip tuning, with which one can switch between approx. 100 hp and according to the seller allegedly 180 hp back and forth. The chip tuning is registered in the vehicle registration, however with 103 KW / 140 hp. Now my questions… 1. Which of the two PS numbers is taken into account when registering? The low, the high or a mean? 2. How and where can I determine how much horsepower it actually has? 3. The V-Max specified in the vehicle certificate is considerably lower than the actual achievable speed (about 40km difference). What about this? 3. If it is really 180, would there be a chance to get it registered? And how does it work? 4. Different work on the engine was carried out to achieve the extra power (modified injection system, injection nozzles, engine head, turbo e tc.), of which, however, there is nothing in the vehicle registration. What about the registration, does all this have to be explicitly entered individually? Looking forward to the answers… Greeting, Demkon
